As everyone knows, I was not at all impressed by the new revival of West Side Story. One of the best actors in the show Cody Green is now leaving. It’s just not right how one of the best parts in the show has to leave. I could talk all day about how much I didn’t like West Side Story, but in a few short words, Cody Green was my favorite part of the show and now my decision of not going back to West Side Story has been reinforced by a million.
As good as his replacement may be, his replacement is only an understudy and should not take over the role. They should just put him in the role until they find a new replacement. Cody Green’s leave is unknown and, seeing in a way he is a celebrity for winning Bravo’s “Step It Up & Dance”, he could have gotten a better offer. But if I were Cody Green. . .I WOULD HAVE LEFT THAT SHOW TOO!
